Kellogg Company Announces Voluntary Nationwide Recall
Here is some very important information on some popular food items. On January 16, 2009 the FDA posted the following press release http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls/kellogg201_09.html. You can go to that link for all the details but I just wanted to post a quick list of the products that are included in the recall.
Products impacted by the recall were produced on or after July 1, 2008, including:
- Austin® Quality Foods Cheese Crackers with Peanut Butter – all sizes
- Austin® Quality Foods Cheese & Peanut ButterSandwich Crackers – all sizes
- Austin® Quality Foods Mega Stuffed Cheese Crackers with Peanut Butter – all sizes
- Austin® Quality Foods PB & J Cracker Sandwiches – all sizes
- Austin® Quality FoodsSuper Snack Pack Sandwich Crackers
- Austin® Quality Foods Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers – all sizes
- Austin® Quality Foods Toasty Crackers with Peanut Butter – all sizes

I don’t know about all of you, but all of these recalls are really starting to scare me. I mean we have food for humans, food for animals, children’s toys, etc that have been affected by recalls. There definitely needs to be a better way of controlling this. When will it end!

thanks Roxy…sent the info to my son who is diabetic and sometimes eats peanut butter and crackers if he has a low blood sugar…
