Roxxy, So sorry to hear about the lose of your bird. I had just seen a documentary on the Animal Planet in regards to exotic birds and I thought that they said they had very long lives well into their 60's years of age. Which according to the doc. was one problem is they usually outlived their owners. He must of had been very ill. I'm so sorry for you and can only imagine how you must feel without him. I hope you find solace in the memories of him and how you & 'TT' got along together.Take care and rest up. I do know there is a place where people give up their parrots and exotic birds maybe you could find another one later when you are ready, and help a bird who has lost "their" owner! God Bless you and take care. JJ

I'm truly sorry to hear about TT. I have 4 tiels, an African Grey, Moluccan Cockatoo and an Orange Wing Amazon. They are such company! One of the 'tiels and the Grey whistle Andy Griffin and they also whistle a couple of other tunes I've taught them. Of course the Grey also talks.

I hope you get to feeling better soon.!

Sorry to hear about TT's passing. Losing a pet is indeed like losing a friend. We recently lost our hamster Violet, and had a small and sweet ceremony on the edge of our woods for our devastated 6 yr old.

I hope you feel better soon. I think we've got the same nasty virus here.

I have a cockatiel, too! They are great birds. I know what you mean about them being better than watchdogs. I'm very sorry to read about your loss.

God bless you. ((hugs))

So sorry for your lose. I recently lost my 14yr old American Eskimo dog and it is truly like losing a child. Very, hard. My heart goes out to you.
