Changing Up The Blog
Hey everyone! You may have noticed that the look of my blog has really changed over the last week. About a week ago my blog went crazy and something happened with the theme…not exactly sure what happened but I kept getting all these errors and stuff wasn’t showing up right and so changing the theme was really my only option.
I had been thinking about changing the theme for awhile now but every time I would almost be at the point of changing it, someone would say how much they really liked it so I ended up leaving it the same. But change is good, right?! I have been having trouble finding something that I really like that is different than what everyone else is doing. So when I have the extra time, I will probably continue to play around with it until I find something I really like.
So here’s a question for my blogger friends…Do you tend to keep the same theme for along time or do you like to change it up? And I would like to get the readers input on this as well. When you visit a blog, do you like seeing the same theme each time you visit or do you enjoy seeing a different theme. I would love to hear everybody’s thoughts on this!

This one looks nice and calm.
But it needs a bit more identity.
In the past I changed my main site every so many weeks.
And at times I still do.
The theme I have now is OK with me. It has settled in a way.
The Laane Loves site.. well… I’m looking to change it.
I’m bored with the colours.

The theme will never change. I like being all-over-the-place.
Today I did change my template. I thought my old one was just way too blah.
Let me know what you think, please?
I have to say I like your other template better. It’s a work in progress though, right?
PLU!

I tend to change out the photo headers. However I have change a few of my blogs, the Kitchen, Reviews and Garden.I am still looking for one for At Home. I like the change and sometime it is better for the visitors.

Change is always a good thing, keeping one theme for a long time is getting boring sometimes.

I love to change the theme of my blog, I haven’t developed that big of readership to worry to much about the theme, I don’t think
I don’t mind if a blogger changes the theme as long as the content is still good.

I like to see changes. I usually change my theme when I get bored with it. But the last time the theme broke. I was getting errors I could not fixed so I was forced to change it.

I change my blog’s theme whenever I feel that the current design doesn’t reflect my blog’s “personality”. Blogs, like people, evolve too and so there’s a need to change the theme to reflect the changes in the blogger and the blog itself.
I don’t mind if other bloggers change their theme periodically but oftentimes, I tend to associate a certain theme to a certain blog – I sometimes can’t recognize the blog when I see them again. Especially if the blog title’s are also changed (like I did to my present blog, LOL).

I have had my blog layout for the past two years. Like you, I;ve always thought about changing it up but just don’t get right to it. Hopefully soon I get to change it. I don’t mind seeing the same old themes on old familiar blogs but I will be quick to admire when a change is done that makes my visits more pleasurable, so to speak.

I go through phases. I’ll keep the same one for a LONG time then change it abut once a week for a while until I find another one I like alot, then stay with it for a LONG time and start all over again.

Hi! All the best with new wonderful template. I became a follow of your blog. Probably advertise here using CMF adds too.

I like your template. It’s nice and clean without a lot of clutter. I’m not sure if you are planning on adding a background graphic but I do like the general layout and colours.
I’m more of a subtle and gradual type of changer when it comes to the theme. Occasionally I get the urge to do a major over haul of one of my blogs. Recently I did a major over haul on my cooking theme complete with new header, new theme, and the whole nine yards. It was stressful though because the theme becomes part of your branding so I was scared it would mess a few things up.

once in a blue moon you can change from one theme to another…it totally depend on you and much more better if it is user friendly

I just changed my theme last week too. I find that it’s in my personality to look for change every once in a while to spruce things up.
I think it’s just a matter of personality. I don’t think changing themes affects me much as a reader, so long as there’s a post or something that tells me what’s happening. So, it’s really more up to the bloggers style whether they change more often than not.

I’ve spruced my my bog a little too with a new header, but I’m sticking to my theme, money-saving, its what interests me, good luck!
