Wow I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve updated you guys! Sorry about that! There has been A LOT going on in my life…some bad and some good. I guess you have to go through the bad stuff so you can really appreciate the good. I’m going to be taking the blog in a different direction. I’m going to start sharing with you more music and photography stuff. I’ve been going to quite a few live shows here lately and I’ve been taking video and pictures at the shows and I thought it would be cool to share that with my readers.

Hey everyone, I’m still alive in case you were wondering. Had to take some time away from blogging for awhile. I’ve had that awful virus that has been going around and was pretty sick for along awhile. Hope all of you have been well. Seems like it has been really bad this year on a lot of people. But on a positive note, I am feeling much better now.

Now if I could just figure out how to sleep at night things would be much better. I have terrible insomnia so if any of you have any tips, I could sure use some! I’ve already been asked twice this week if I was a vampire. I do not sleep at night anymore and it has become a serious problem…really messes up my whole day. So what do you guys do when you can’t sleep?

I know many of us use Arm & Hammer Baking Soda when we cook, but did you also know there are all kinds of ways that we can pamper ourselves using it too?! I have used it on my teeth and in my bath but I am really looking forward to trying it in my hair. I do use styling products in my hair and get that awful buildup that those kinds of products leave behind and using Arm & Hammer Baking Soda with my shampoo would make perfect sense. This is the time that people start making their New Years Resolutions. I usually don’t even bother making them anymore because I never seem to end up keeping them. But I really do need to manage my time better and get more organized…this is not going to be an easy task! So what are some of  yours and do you usually end up keeping them?

I hope everyone had a nice holiday and I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!! I know this time of year is especially hard for a lot of people. This can be a very depressing time for those that are alone and for those that have lost loved ones. Just know that you are not alone, there are a lot of people going through the same exact things and it really does get better with time.

The month of  December this year has been colder than normal and it’s already snowed here two different times. I love how pretty the snow is coming down but I have to say that it really messes up my travel plans. It seems to always snow when I have plans to go out of town. I haven’t got as much done this month as I had hoped. Not only have I been sick but both the cat and dog have been sick. Just glad they weren’t sick at the same time! The dog was so sick that I ended up having to take him to the vet. He is finally getting better now. Hate when my babies are sick! Don’t even want to think what the next crisis will be…can’t things just be slow and boring for awhile?!!!

Just wanted to give everyone an update on what’s been going on. The month of November has been pretty bad for me. First I was sick with a sinus infection and then before I even got over that, I ended up with an eye infection. Then just when I was getting over all that, my internet here at the house went out. Usually when my internet goes out it is only out for like 1-2 days. This time it was out for 12 days!!!! I was calling everyday and getting transferred to this person and that person and yet nobody could tell me anything!! Still don’t have any idea what was wrong but they did get me back up a few hours ago.

It’s been tough being without internet here at the house for so long…I’ve been having to run around everywhere just so I could get online here and there. You don’t realize how much you depend on the net until you don’t have it!!! And it’s been especially hard being without the internet here at the holidays. I do a lot of my shopping online and it’s put me way behind!

You don’t even want to get me started on this holiday traffic!! Where do these people come from?!!! Traffic last night coming back home from my mom’s was a nightmare!!! Now I know why I get so stressed around the holidays!! I really hope December turns out better than November!
