My blog turned 1 year old this month. I did my very first post on November 16, 2007. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a year!  To be honest, when I first started this blog I had no idea how long I would keep it going. I never had a blog before and I thought it would be something fun to try but I have really enjoyed it a lot more than I ever thought I would. I have learned so much this past year and met some really great people by having this blog.

I would like to say thank you to all of you who have visited my blog and continue to visit. I want to especially thank all of you that take the time to leave comments and to those who advertise on my blog. This blog would be nothing without you!!

I would also like to welcome all new visitors to my blog. My blog is called Life With Roxxymetal and it’s not limited to any certain topic. It’s about my life and what’s important to me. I talk about my family, my pets, making money, saving money, finding good deals, samples, coupons, etc. So if there is ever something you would like me to cover here just let me know. I love feedback from my readers, I think that’s how you really connect with people.

What topics would you like to see more of? Maybe you would like me to list more samples or maybe you are interested in finding more ways to make money? This will give me a better idea of what more people are interested in reading when they come to visit my blog. So any input would be greatly appreciated!! 

Have you heard about the Million Blog List? I just signed up a few days ago on the Million Blog List so if you haven’t heard about it yet then go and sign up and get your blog listed. Basically it is an experiment to see how long it will take to get 1,000,000 blogs to list themselves on the site. The list was just started on April 10, 2008 and it seems to be off to a pretty good start. The way I see it, why not sign up because the more places you can get your blog listed the better.

Do you consider yourself a full or part time blogger? I have met some really great bloggers since starting my own blog just a few months ago. It really got me wondering though,how many of you consider blogging your main job or main source of income? Do you think you spend more time blogging than you would with a regular 9-5 job? I am just trying to get a feel for where everyone is at. When I first started this blog I really had no idea what I was doing but I have learned so much already and I continue to learn more and more everyday. I guess what really surprised me the most is how friendly and helpful other bloggers really are! I really appreciate all the help I have received from others and hope that I can also be of some help to others just starting out as well.

I know some of you have been doing this for many years and then there are some of us that are just finding our way in the blogging world. Do you remember what got you into blogging?! Do your friends and family really understand what you do when you tell them that you are a blogger or that you make money with your blog?

I would love to hear about everyone’s experience with blogging. What mistakes did you make in the beginning. What one thing have you learned that has made all the difference in your success? If you had one piece of advice for a new blogger,what would it be?

First off…yes I am still alive!!! I know a lot of you have been wondering what happened to me and if I was ever going to return. I have recovered from being ill but I tell you, it was really a rough one! I want to thank you all for the kind comments and well wishes I have been receiving and I do apologize for the major delay in  getting back to everybody as things are still very much slow going on my end. But I do want all of you to know how much I really appreciate it. And especially to my loyal viewers(and you know who you are) thanks a bunch guys!!!

Even though I haven’t been posting lately, I’ve been trying my best to still do my Entrecard drops. I have really been impressed with the quality of people and their blogs that I have found through Entrecard. I must admit that I am pleasantly surprised because honestly I wasn’t really expecting that much from Entrecard.

Also aside from my illness there is another reason for my delay in returning to normal posting at which I will explain in my next post.
